The Online Supported Business Directory is a website sponsored by JobCentreplus, and spearheaded by the Department of Work and Pensions, Remploy, GMB, the Office of Government and Commerce, and the British Association of Supported Employment to bridge the gap between Government procurers and disabled people.

This new service has been developed to support changes in the EU  Public Sector and Utilities Directives, which now allow procurement officials in Central, Regional, and Local Government and wider public authorities the scope to reserve and place public procurement contracts for supported factories and businesses, where over 50% of the workforce have a disability. The website provides easily accessible information on the vast range of quality products and services supported factories and businesses can provide to the public sector.  Supported businesses will be able to register online and provide details of the type of products and services they offer.
